New Jersey accepts this trade as it gives us 2 more expiring contracts, and relieves us of the 2nd year of Hassell's contract. We hate to lose a young, cheap player like Anderson, but we had a logjam at PF and a shortage at SF, where we obtained another young player in Donte Greene.

Kings accept the deal as well. Andersons skill set is intriguing and 2 of the 3 players we give up would have seen little to no playing time. We gladdly will eat the hassell contract in order to get anderson.

Sorry it isn't salary legal...it was off by like $900,000...if the Kings add Quincy Douby it will be legal or work on a new deal...sry...

again cannot be done nets would have too many players Well the plan was to then make another trade where it would equal out. 1)So then trades have to be player neutral? 2 for 2, 1 for 1, etc, etc? (if so that's fine, just wanting to know). 2)Anyway to waive or cut an extra player? Only reason the 3rd player coming my way was added was for salaries to match up. Thanks

you can choose to cut a player in the deal after he is traded (so it will still affect salary cap for the length of his contract) or u can cut a guy already on your roster

I understand his $1,427,040 will count against my cap for the rest of this season. So I am going to update my depth chart to reflect this trade, minus Douby. (please advise if something is incorrect, thanks)
